Communication Skills

Communication is a basic skill of every university graduate. Later, in applying for a new job or in their professions, technical branch graduates will be able to exploit the communication skills obtained in our courses. In some of the courses on offer prepared in association with some FEE expert departments, the students can focus on a “technical”, i.e. specific -purpose language. In others, the students can consult the matter with teachers -business experts. The courses “Rhetoric”  are aimed at students who wish to specialize more generally in this ancient art, to train their voice, breathing, and self- presentation, as well as preparing for the conference or lecture visuals.

Since the Academic Year 2016/17, the department has also been offering a practical subject which develops, or improves, students' ability to write standard documents - Academic Writing, which gives to the students skills they might find useful later during writing their bachelor projects.

Cancellation of language courses

Students can cancel a course during the first 2 weeks of the semester. Afterwards the subject can be cancelled only by the Head of the Department for valid reasons, which have to be proven.
