Japanese language

In 2006, as a result of requests from and in association with our students, our Department decided to organize the first courses of Japanese. Initially, we offered two courses for beginners, and then we continued gradually with courses at higher levels.

Since the 2012/13 academic year, the faculty management has met our needs and included Japanese among the optional subjects (with the code A0B04JAP). So now, the students of our faculty can study this exotic language for free, and, in addition, they can receive 2 credits for its successful completion.

The course is taught by an external teacher, who graduated in this branch of study and obtained a university degree. Moreover, our students can benefit from his experience as a result of his frequent study stays in Japan.

Cancellation of language courses

Students can cancel a course during the first 2 weeks of the semester. Afterwards the subject can be cancelled only by the Head of the Department for valid reasons, which have to be proven.
