Language Teaching at the Department of Languages, FEE CTU

The Department provides for all the branches of study at FEE CTU and all the study programmes include language courses. Besides the compulsory English language examinations, it provides preparatory courses for these examinations. Students are not obliged to attend these courses, they can prepare on their own. However, attendance of the courses is recommended.

Moreover, the Department offers other language courses, such as French, German, Russian and Spanish. In cooperation with external lecturers, we are also able more exotic languages such as Chinese and Japanese.

The Department provides foreign students the option of studying at either FEE CTU or with the Erasmus Exchange Programme for Czech lessons - beginners and intermediate students.

The basic language courses are supplemented with a wide range of additional courses such as conversation, technical language and others, as well as preparing students for international certificated examinations.

Within communication skills, the department provides five compulsory courses for two bachelor and one master study programs. Students can also attend Rhetoric.
